Social counselling and support
for recognised refugees in Erfurt
Our counseling center at Magdeburger Allee 136, 99086 Erfurt offers social support and practical assistance to refugees who have been granted recognized refugee status. We help with arrival, orientation, and social participation in Germany. To provide the best possible care and guidance, we draw on our many years of experience in social work. This enables us to offer individualized, culturally sensitive, and promising solutions. We do not just provide one-time support. Instead, we take a holistic approach that also incorporates aspects of personal development in managing everyday situations. We also serve as advisors to other organizations, schools and public authorities.
Our social counseling services include the following:
- Orientation in daily life: Guidance for self-determined living and active assistance in coping with various challenges in everyday life
- Access to authorities and services: Assistance in navigating public agencies, specialized services and support programs
- Information and application support: Guidance on applying for essential benefits, such as those under SGB II and SGB XII (German social security codes)
- Healthcare access: Support in accessing healthcare services
- Conflict counseling: Help with social conflicts and support in situations involving violence
- Education and leisure: Access to daycare centers, educational institutions and recreational programs for students and adults
- Community building: Promoting a sense of solidarity and social cohesion
