As part of our project Pat:innen Training: Ukraine-Patenschaften (Mentor Training: Ukraine Mentorships) in Leipzig, valuable guides and webinars have been created for volunteers in refugee support.

What was/is the mentor training about?

The mentor training prepared interested volunteers for their engagement in refugee support through one-on-one conversations and practical group workshops focusing on topics such as practical assistance and contact points, communication, the role and responsibilities of a mentor, the basics of psychosocial first aid, and dealing with war, violence, and loss.
