We support six Islamic communities in Saxony and assist them – among other things – with small group and individual coaching to further develop their work. A good example of practical support is a small group coaching that we carried out with the Afghan Centre in Saxony – Ghadir e.V..
A trainer taught members of the community the necessary skills to further professionalise their public relations work. Specifically, it was about the design and programming of their website. Over the course of several days, not only were the basic aspects of public relations work using a website discussed and taught, but a website was also programmed together with the association. The transfer of knowledge could hardly have been more practical and the whole thing had a direct added value for the community (members) and those interested in their work.
The purpose of the website is not only to inform about the association’s work in general, but also about events and other news that are relevant for the members and the public. Especially nice: Even after the coaching, the speaker will be the contact person for community members who are in charge of the website.
