The first workshop

On Saturday, June 15th the first workshop of our project took place in Leipzig. Twelve Muslim women came together with different project ideas. But before it came to that, it was time to get to know each other over tea, coffee and cake. Due to the relaxed atmosphere, the transition from this to the ideas and plans of the women was smooth. „It became apparent that the women already partly know in great detail what they want to do. Then, there are only problems with the exact implementation,“ explained the project manager, Monika Klose. But that is exactly why she is here. Consequently, in the second part of the workshop, strategies were discussed as to how the ideas could be implemented in Leipzig-Grünau.
